Meet the team.

Ziyou is co-founder, CEO and Chair of the Board of Bitizenship Capital, SCR, S.A., with responsibility for finance and risk management, and co-founder of Bitizenship, the group's advisory company.

Before taking on the role full time in 2026, she spent a decade in Portuguese real estate as founder and CEO of Qualiv, developing more than €100 million in assets and structuring investments for Golden Visa clients. She stepped down from all her real estate roles to join the firm, so that she is fully dedicated to it and free of conflicts of interest.

She began her career at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong and holds a B.S. from Cornell University.

Alessandro is co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Bitizenship Capital, SCR, S.A., and co-founder and CEO of Bitizenship, the group's advisory company. He leads investment, divestment and monitoring, including fundraising and execution.

An Italian qualified lawyer with a Ph.D. in Public Law and a master's in the regulation of global markets, he chose early on to build technology companies across jurisdictions rather than practise inside one legal system. He has worked in more than ten countries and has advised the Oxford Deep Tech Dispute Resolution Lab, San Marino Innovation and the Astana International Financial Centre.

João is Executive Director of Bitizenship Capital and responsible for the asset valuation function, which sits with him and not with the investment team. He is a partner at Baker Tilly in Lisbon, where he specialises in transfer pricing and business plan review, after earlier roles at Deloitte in London and at KPMG.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master's in Finance from Católica Lisbon.
